Ibutamoren (Ibutamorol, Nutrobal, Ibutamorol, laboratory cipher MK-677, MK-0677 or L-163,191) is a powerful, non-peptide agonist of long-acting ghrelin receptors, stimulating the secretion of growth hormone. Today it is one of the most powerful stimulators of the production of natural growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).

The uniqueness of the drug lies in the fact that by increasing the secretion of several hormones in the body, including growth hormone and IGF-1, it does not affect the level of cortisol, and also by changing the metabolism of adipose tissue, it allows you to effectively reduce it, which makes it indispensable for building lean muscle mass.

Ibutamoren has the same effect on the body as growth hormone, but the cost is cheaper than artificial growth hormone and is safer.

How MK-677 works

MK-677 affects several areas of the brain that are responsible for metabolic interaction. It does this in 4 ways:

1. increases the production of GHRH (GHRH causes increased secretion of the anterior pituitary gland of the somatotropic hormone),
2. reduces the level of somatostatin (somatostatin is a peptide hormone that suppresses the secretion of growth hormone),
3. promotes GHRH signals in the pituitary gland,
4. restricts the signals of the somatostatin receptor.

The effect of taking Ibutamoren

Studies of Ibutamoren effects on the human body have shown that a single dosage of the drug at a dose of 25 mg induces an average peak concentration of GH equal to 22.1 mcg/l. Higher doses cause even higher levels of peak growth hormone concentrations. Ibutamoren maintains the plasma level of growth hormone, so that it is produced in a steady background.

By increasing the level of growth hormone, Ibutamoren increases muscle mass, strength, and reduces the production of fat deposits. It also reduces muscle loss, improves muscle strength and walking speed, especially among the elderly, and increases bone density. Studies have shown that Ibutamoren improves the quality and duration of sleep, and improving sleep quality contributes to improving health. Ibutamoren also enhances lipolysis, therefore it is used to treat obesity and complications associated with it.

The use of the drug allows increasing the level of IGF-1 by 39-89%. The effect of IGF-1 on the human body:

1. Fat oxidation (fat burning).
2. Increase in lean muscle mass.

4. Restoration of damaged tendons, ligaments.

Ibutamoren course and how to apply

Studies have shown that the effect of the drug does not depend on the sex, age and other indicators of a person.

A daily dose of 25 mg is comparable to injectable growth hormone. With a weight of up to 80 kg, take 1 capsule per day on an empty stomach before going to bed (if the evening intake of the drug interferes with sleep, then the reception should be postponed to the morning and taken before breakfast on an empty stomach). If your weight is more than 80 kg, then you should add another capsule before breakfast (total one capsule in the evening before going to bed, the second in the morning on an empty stomach). The duration of growth hormone stimulation after a single dose of the drug is 8 hours or more. Do I need PCT (post-course therapy)?

MK-677 does not affect testosterone levels, so PCT is not needed.

Can women use Ibutamoren?

Ibutamoten does not have an androgenic effect, so there is no risk of virilization and women can safely use it. Moreover, one of the first proposed uses of MK-677 is the treatment of women suffering from postmenopausal osteoporosis.
